Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

I haven't really felt like writing anything in a long time.  Writing something takes consideration, and that sort of consideration takes an energy I just don't produce anymore.  What's the deal?  Maybe I just haven't been eating enough bananas or something.  Potassium!
Work is pretty crazy.  My schedule is being flung all over the map, and I'm having to miss all the wonderful churchin' events I've taken advantage of for so long.  Maybe if I can stay there a year I can build up vacation days and one-at-a-time 'em instead of mass vacationating.  I need to drive so much I can taste it, but there's still the fear of testing that I don't call them.  I think I have a fear of living, so I procrastinate doing that, too.
The past few days, I'd been staying with my stepbrother and his roommate in Newport, so I can get to work at 7 in the morning.  His rommate's dad showed up on Tuesday, and decided to take us all to dinner.  It was a very strange experience, really.
My nephew just came up to my room and asked if he could play a game.  I told him no because it's a huge hassle and my room is a disaster, and he started bawling.  Talk about making you feel bad.

Work has made me tired and generally computerless.  Most of my day while not working is spent trying to get ready for work and trying to get there.  That's probably the big problem with the tiredness.  Also, I tore up my leg at church camp--what, two weeks ago--and now my leg and foot is all bruised up and my foot was swollen for roughly a week.    Standing for six hours straight became kind of a scary thing, especially when I could barely walk afterwards.  Also, it was more than a little frightening when everybody would tell me I had thrombosis.  It's looking a lot better now, and feeling even better than that.
So, other than the drifty haze I'm in, things are going pretty well.  I'm expecting to have some money toward the end of the month, which is exciting, and I have Sundays and Wednesdays off so I won't be missing any church (which, to some people is the weariness of their week, but to me it is the highlight).  Things will be looking up soon if everything goes as planned.

The interview seemed to go well.  Apparently I'll be getting a phone call next week letting me know whether I got the job or not.  I don't know how much of a chance I have, really.
I got a new Bible yesterday.  It's beautiful.  It was printed by a church in Lansing, Michigan that makes the finest King James Bibles around.  They modeled them after the Cambridge Bible--which is like $200--but did their best to outdo Cambridge.  Mine cost $37.  All of their profits go to make soulwinning Bibles for missionaries.
